Description

Design, build, and implement Global Treasury Python-based modelling solutions, including containerized deployments and CI/CD automations. Deliver a reusable, robust coding environment and automated solutions for fast model build and deployment. Partner with business stakeholders, Quantitative Analysts, and IT to contribute to end-to-end design and planning while meeting business and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and implement Python-based modelling solutions for Global Treasury

• Support containerized solutions and CI/CD automations

• Provide a robust, reusable coding environment

• Implement automated model build and deployment workflows

• Collaborate with stakeholders, Quantitative Analysts, and IT for end-to-end design/planning

• Implement software using best practices to meet evolving business and regulatory needs

• Coordinate change management and maintenance in line with Group standards

• Work with Quantitative Analytics teams to deliver practical solutions that comply with accounting and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• 5+ years of relatable experience

• Vast experience designing and building large-scale backend applications/systems in Python (local and cloud), including from scratch

• Experience creating Python libraries, designing/implementing APIs, and integrating with other systems (databases, storage, frontends)

• Experience building containerised solutions and CI/CD pipelines for end-to-end automations on cloud platforms (GCP, Docker)

• Preferably experience with Jenkins and GitHub integration

• Expert knowledge of at least three of: Python, FastAPI, Apache Airflow, S3, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Docker

• Experience writing and reviewing technical documentation

• Ability to lead test-driven development

• Finance/quantitative finance knowledge; Risk or Analytics experience is a plus
