Description

You will collaborate with the Product Owner, solution architect, and development team to translate business objectives into actionable requirements and workflow logic. The role bridges business needs and technical implementation, especially for LLM-powered applications, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), knowledge integration, and human-in-the-loop workflows. You will also help define AI behavior expectations, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios for AI-generated outputs.

Responsibilities

• Clarify business objectives, user needs, and MVP scope with the Product Owner and stakeholders

• Translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows

• Decompose business processes into workflow steps (inputs, outputs, dependencies, validation rules, decision points)

• Analyze and document requirements for LLM-powered workflows, AI agents, RAG, and knowledge integration

• Define expected AI behavior (output structure, source attribution, validation, error handling, fallbacks)

• Support human-in-the-loop processes (approvals, GO/NO-GO gates, feedback, decision traceability)

• Work with developers/architects to clarify API contracts, data structures, and integration requirements

• Identify dependencies, edge cases, assumptions, and risks early

• Define test scenarios and acceptance criteria for AI outputs (relevance, factual consistency, source grounding, compliance)

• Refine requirements iteratively based on feasibility, feedback, and MVP validation results

• Maintain clear, lightweight documentation to support rapid development

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or Systems Analyst in software development projects

• Ability to translate business needs into detailed functional requirements, user stories, and testable acceptance criteria

• Good understanding of software architecture fundamentals, REST APIs, JSON, data models, and system integrations

• Practical understanding of LLM-based applications and GenAI concepts: prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector search, and AI agent workflows

• Ability to analyze multi-step business processes and define workflow logic, dependencies, decision rules, and exception handling

• Understanding of data quality, source attribution, traceability, and AI-generated content limitations

• Experience collaborating with developers, solution architects, and product stakeholders in agile delivery

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for an evolving MVP scope

• Excellent communication skills for translating between business and technical perspectives
