Description

You will coordinate and own the Technology budgeting process, including budgeting, forecasting, reforecasting, and performance/variance analysis. The role combines IT Finance, controlling, and Finance Business Partnering, partnering with budget owners and senior leadership to challenge assumptions and drive cost management. You will also define and continuously improve budgeting standards and processes, and provide management reporting to the CTO and senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Own and coordinate the budgeting process across the Technology organization
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting processes
• Monitor budget performance and analyze variances between budget, forecast, and actual costs
• Identify cost growth areas, understand underlying drivers, and provide actionable recommendations
• Partner with budget owners to support financial planning and cost management
• Review and challenge budget assumptions and forecasts
• Define and continuously improve Technology budgeting standards, guidelines, and processes
• Prepare financial analyses, recommendations, and management reporting for the CTO and senior leadership
• Cooperate with Controlling and teams responsible for operational finance processes
• Coordinate capitalization of Technology-related costs and employee time
• Coordinate audits related to Technology costs and capitalization
• Ensure consistency and quality of financial data used for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting

Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in IT Finance, Technology Finance, Finance Business Partnering, Controlling, or FP&A
• Experience managing or coordinating complex budgeting processes
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Experience working with IT/Technology budgets or in a large and complex organization
• Experience partnering with budget owners and senior management
• Strong analytical skills with confidence working with large volumes of financial data
• Ability to translate financial data into clear business insights and actionable recommendations
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence and constructively challenge senior stakeholders
• Good understanding of CAPEX and OPEX
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• High independence and ownership coordinating processes across multiple stakeholders
• Fluent English (minimum C1)
