Description

The role of an IoT (WIND) Support Engineer provides end-to-end technical support for IoT connectivity solutions, ensuring seamless operation of IoT network devices and platforms. You will troubleshoot connectivity issues across device, network, and application layers for LoRaWAN, P-APN, and MPN environments. You will analyze logs and network traces, support deployments and provisioning, and contribute to root-cause analysis and incident reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2/Level 3 technical support for IoT connectivity solutions (LoRaWAN, P-APN, MPN)

• Troubleshoot device, network, and application-layer issues across IoT technologies

• Analyze logs, packet captures, and network traces to identify root causes and apply corrective actions

• Support onboarding, provisioning, and lifecycle management of IoT devices

• Support new deployments and project implementations in LoRaWAN, P-APN, and MPN

• Deploy, configure, and maintain LoRaWAN infrastructure (gateways, network servers, end devices)

• Troubleshoot LoRaWAN communication issues (join failures, packet loss, coverage challenges, gateway capacity)

• Monitor gateway health, RF performance, and network utilization

• Support integration between LoRaWAN Network Servers and cloud platforms

• Ensure compliance with LoRaWAN architecture and best practices

• Support private APN environment deployment and configuration as needed

• Support SIM/eSIM provisioning and IoT connectivity troubleshooting

• Investigate and resolve authentication, routing, DNS, IP addressing, and data session problems

• Validate APN connectivity and performance for site deployments

• Support LTE/5G Mobile Private Network deployment and operations

• Monitor MPN performance, availability, and security

• Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and support procedures

• Analyze connectivity KPIs and network performance metrics

• Conduct root-cause analysis and provide incident reports

• Participate in on-call support rotations when required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Information Technology

• Experience supporting and deploying LoRaWAN-based IoT solutions

• Strong understanding of APN architecture and cellular connectivity

• Knowledge of IoT communication protocols: MQTT, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, UDP, CoAP

• Experience with networking tools: Wireshark, tcpdump, and others

• Knowledge of cellular technologies: LTE, LTE-M, NB-IoT, and 5G
