Description

You will manage and document industrial OT networks (e.g., Profinet) and their connection to the IT infrastructure, including analyzing data communication between OT and IT systems. The position also includes device inventory, firmware/version evidence for control systems, configuration backups and log collection, plus basic administration of OT network equipment such as firewalls and switches. You will help monitor production equipment availability and performance and contribute to OT cybersecurity during production investment activities.

Responsibilities

• Administration and documentation of industrial networks (e.g., Profinet) including integration with the IT infrastructure
• Analysis and description of data communication between OT and IT systems
• Inventory management for production devices (PC, PLC, HMI, IPC, switches, etc.)
• OT/IT consultation during investment projects and management of remote access
• Evidence and updates of firmware and control-system versions
• Backup of device configurations and collection of logs
• Basic network administration for OT devices (firewalls, switches)
• Monitoring of availability and performance of production equipment
• Management of access credentials for OT devices (PLC, HMI, switches, etc.)
• Collaboration on cybersecurity in production: identify risks and propose measures

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of industrial networks (Profinet, Ethernet/IP)
• Experience in creating documentation; attention to detail and systematic work style
• Basic orientation in TCP/IP networks (VLAN, routing)
• Ability to read technical documentation and diagrams/schematics
• Technical thinking and ability to solve problems in a production environment
• Basic overview of OT cybersecurity (passwords, segmentation, access)
