Description

We’re looking for someone who combines hardware competencies with solid programming experience. This role is not limited to writing firmware—it includes assembling and configuring a device from scratch (component selection, PCB design/bring-up), then writing code to make it work reliably and communicate with the cloud or upstream systems.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and configure custom IoT devices (component selection, PCB mounting, bringing up boards)
• Write firmware and control software for microcontrollers (ESP32, STM32 or similar)
• Design and integrate electronic circuits tailored to specific use cases
• Implement communication with cloud and supervisory systems (MQTT, REST, Modbus RTU)
• Collaborate with SCADA/PLC systems to integrate devices in industrial environments
• Test devices and diagnose hardware and software errors
• Document hardware and software solutions

Requirements

• Technical education (electronics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, technical informatics, or related)
• Minimum 2 years of commercial experience in embedded or IoT device programming
• Practical knowledge of C or C++ in the context of microcontrollers
• Experience with ESP32, STM32, or nRF platforms
• Knowledge of IoT protocols: MQTT, HTTP/REST, Modbus, BLE, or LoRaWAN
• Practical ability to assemble and bring up electronic devices (boards, prototyping)
• Ability to read electronic schematics
• Knowledge of Git and working with code repositories
