Description

Develop and maintain backend payment systems, implement new functionality in Java, and integrate with external payment services. Work with ISO 8583-based communication, build and integrate microservices, and participate in technical and architectural decisions. Collaborate with developers, QA, and analysts while optimizing existing solutions.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Must have:

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience with Java
• Very good knowledge of Java / Spring / Spring Boot
• Experience building and developing backend systems
• Payments experience OR practical knowledge of ISO 8583 (required)
• Knowledge of REST API and integration of systems
• Experience with SQL databases
• Knowledge of Git
• Independence and ability to solve technical problems

Nice to have:

• Experience with high-volume transaction systems
• Knowledge of microservices architecture
• Kafka / messaging
• Docker / Kubernetes
• Cloud experience
• Knowledge of other standards and protocols used in payments
