Description

You’ll join an internal IT team as a junior IT generalist rather than a single-technology specialist. The role focuses on supporting internal users (first-level support rotation), ensuring availability of internal systems across Windows/Microsoft and Linux/Unix, and administering corporate applications (including accounting and printing systems). You’ll also handle operational incidents (monitoring and logs), work with networking/security components, and contribute to small scripts, integrations, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Support internal users (rotation on first-level support; not full-time helpdesk)

• Ensure operation and availability of internal systems (Windows/Microsoft and Linux/Unix)

• Administer and develop internal corporate/accounting/printing systems

• Basic database and corporate data work

• Resolve operational incidents using monitoring and log analysis to find root causes

• Cooperate on administration of network and security components

• Write smaller tools, scripts, integrations, and automation for routine tasks

• Propose ways to simplify, clarify, and modernize internal business processes

Requirements

• Basic orientation in IT infrastructure and operating systems (Windows; at least basic Linux or willingness to learn)

• Basic networking knowledge and general awareness of IT security

• Basic database knowledge or working with data

• Ability to write simple scripts or small pieces of code

• Analytical thinking to break down problems and identify causes

• Willingness to communicate with users and colleagues; independent and reliable
