Description

You will take overall responsibility for an established site and lead a team of about 15 employees from technical and administrative areas. You ensure reliable operation and continuous development of the IT and security infrastructure—covering networking, servers, storage, and video surveillance/video management. You represent the company with customers, convert requirements into solution concepts and offers, and manage budgets, revenue, and results.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team (~15) and ensure day-to-day operational excellence
• Maintain reliable operation and continuously improve IT and security infrastructure (network, server, storage, video surveillance/video management)
• Represent the company at different customer and decision levels; manage escalations and complex situations
• Plan and control updates, upgrades, lifecycle activities, expansions, and projects
• Translate customer requirements into solution concepts and offers; assess effort/resources; calculate and present offers
• Plan and manage budget, revenue, and results; ensure quality and cost efficiency

Requirements

• Broad practical understanding of modern IT infrastructures (networking, routing/switching, firewalls/security, servers, virtualization, or storage)
• Hands-on experience with technologies/vendors such as Cisco and Fortinet; ability to evaluate feasibility, risks, and effort
• Experience in leading and developing teams
• Technical and commercial thinking, including quotation, calculation, and budgeting experience
• Confident appearance in complex customer organizations; solution-oriented handling of different interests
• Very good German and good English
• Technical education or degree (or comparable qualification) with relevant experience and responsibility-taking ability
• Knowledge of video surveillance/video management or other security systems is a plus
