Description

You will develop and qualify analog and RF hardware for avionics radio communication devices, working from concept and implementation through product qualification and manufacturing transfer.

You will design, select components, simulate, and optimize circuits—such as power amplifier, RF front-end, and synthesizer modules—and support certification aligned with RTCA DO-254.

Responsibilities

• Develop analog and RF hardware assemblies for flight radio equipment
• Support the full development process: concept → implementation → product qualification → manufacturing transfer
• Develop and certify airborne electronic hardware according to RTCA DO-254
• Conceive, design, select components, simulate, and optimize circuits (e.g., power amplifier, HF front-ends, synthesizer modules)
• Run design reviews and define test specifications; qualify assemblies and devices for series production
• Create measures to ensure delivery and service capability of flight radio products across the entire product lifecycle

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering with focus on high-frequency/RF, telecommunications, or a comparable discipline
• Relevant experience in hardware development and high-frequency technology
• Practical knowledge of hardware design tools such as SPICE, Microwave Office, CST, or HFSS
• Programming experience, preferably Python; solid debugging and troubleshooting skills
• German at C2 level and good English proficiency (written and spoken)
• Structured, quality-oriented working style and ability to collaborate closely in interdisciplinary development teams
