Description

You will independently perform device tests according to the test plan for RF/flight radio equipment—troubleshooting, evaluating results, and documenting outcomes (including in tools such as Git). You will build and maintain test environments with current measurement instruments, verify specified RF parameters and functionalities, and automate test cases and procedures. You will also support integration and first commissioning of hardware modules and associated software, collaborating with hardware, software, and mechanical development teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute device tests independently per the test plan: search for faults, evaluate and prepare results, and document in relevant tools (e.g., Git)

• Build and maintain test environments with current measurement equipment and verify given RF parameters and functionalities

• Define and further develop test cases, create test procedures, and automate test execution

• Coordinate test cases with development and independently assess results

• Integrate single components and hardware modules (including associated software) into flight radio devices; support first commissioning with hardware, software, and mechanical development teams

• Create clear test reports with result evaluation, including in English

Requirements

• Completed degree in Electrical Engineering or Information Engineering with a focus on RF engineering or Embedded Systems, or a comparable qualification

• Solid knowledge in preparation, execution, and evaluation of test and measurement tasks

• Good knowledge of radio transmission methods and applications; flight radio knowledge is ideally available

• Practical experience with radio technology (e.g., amateur radio) is an advantage

• Programming knowledge to automate measurement setups

• Independent work style, high engagement, team orientation, and a proactive, communicative personality

• Fluent German and English in speech and writing
