Description

Develop and implement AI applications, services, and workflows, particularly generative AI, AI agents, and machine learning. Build APIs and microservices to integrate AI into existing applications, translate requirements from research and production into deployable AI solutions, and support the software operation of a modern AI high-performance computing (HPC) data center.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement AI applications and services (generative AI, AI agents, machine learning)
• Create AI-supported workflows and integrate knowledge management technologies
• Develop APIs and microservices for integrating AI into existing systems
• Implement access and authorization concepts, logging, monitoring, and protection mechanisms for secure and reliable operations
• Translate requirements from research, development, and manufacturing into AI solutions
• Support the software-side operation of a modern AI HPC data center
• Ensure software quality via version control, systematic testing, documentation, and continuous maintenance/advancement
• Develop solutions for offline operation and local deployment of AI systems
• Ensure compliance with company requirements for IT security and data protection
• Collaborate with domain experts, data scientists, and IT/IT security teams

Requirements

• Completed degree (possibly PhD) in a technical field (e.g., computer science, AI, data science, engineering, mathematics, physics) or equivalent experience-based qualification
• 2–5 years of relevant professional experience
• Practical experience in developing software-based AI applications
• Analytical, structured, and independent working style
• Ability to solve technical problems independently
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in interdisciplinary projects
• Good English skills (spoken and written)
• Willingness to continuously learn new technologies
