Description

You will design and develop intelligent AI agents and agentic AI solutions using Python, taking them from suitable use cases and integration through to productive use in business domains. The role includes orchestrating multi-step AI workflows (e.g., function calling, structured outputs, context management) and integrating with SAP systems. You will support reliable operations using automated tests, evaluation, monitoring, and security/privacy/governance practices.

Responsibilities

• Concept and develop AI agents: use cases, implementation, integration, and productive rollout (Payments, Finance, HR)
• Orchestrate multi-step AI workflows using function calling, structured outputs, and context management; integrate SAP and adjacent applications
• Build reusable Python components, services, and shared technical foundations to scale across AI applications
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to translate requirements into practical AI solutions for complex system landscapes
• Ensure reliable operations via automated tests, evaluation, and monitoring; continuously optimize for performance, stability, and quality
• Operate and monitor systems with monitoring, alerting, and incident management while complying with data protection, security, and governance

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable program
• Several years of professional software development experience with Python and agentic AI application development
• Experience with agent frameworks (and ideally SAP environment experience)
• Strong Python skills and agentic AI expertise, including function calling, structured outputs, context management, and orchestration of multi-step workflows
• Experience with automated tests and evaluation of LLM applications, with attention to security, data protection, and governance
• Familiarity with Clean Code, Test-Driven Development, code reviews, and Git
• Ability to explain complex technical topics clearly, document solutions, and actively listen to stakeholder requirements
• Very good German (at least C1) and English communication skills for technical and business stakeholder exchange
