Description

You will be responsible for the administration, operation, and continuous improvement of a Microsoft Teams platform in a complex enterprise environment. You act as the highest technical escalation point for challenging incidents, problem management, and deep root-cause analyses. You will also design, implement, and optimize Teams-related solutions, services, and integrations across the modern Microsoft 365 landscape.

Responsibilities

• Own administration, operation, and continuous further development of the Microsoft Teams platform

• Serve as top technical instance and 3rd-level escalation point for complex incidents and for problem management and root-cause analysis

• Continuously design, implement, and optimize Teams-adjacent solutions, services, and integrations within Microsoft 365

• Develop and maintain advanced automation solutions with PowerShell to increase efficiency, standardize processes, and reduce manual effort

• Drive governance, security, compliance, and best practices for Microsoft Teams and the broader Microsoft 365 environment; actively lead platform extension, migration, and new service projects

• Enable power-user communities through training, user guides, and best-practice materials

Requirements

• Several years of practical experience as an M365 Engineer or Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Teams

• Experience with 3rd-level support in enterprise environments, including incident and problem management

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable technical program (Bachelor/Master) with very good results; alternatively, relevant IT training with above-average results

• Strong understanding of the Microsoft 365 platform, including adjacent services and dependencies (e.g., Entra, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online), plus integration points and data flows

• Very strong PowerShell skills

• Willingness to deepen expertise in Microsoft Teams Phone and Teams Rooms

• Fluent German and English skills in speech and writing
