Description

You will lead and develop the organization’s IT infrastructure and associated teams in line with business requirements. The position includes ensuring reliable IT operations, continuously improving IT processes, and defining and implementing the company-wide IT strategy for the scope. You manage roughly four departments with about 30 employees and steer IT infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead, further develop, and align the IT infrastructure and associated teams with business needs
• Own responsibility for four departments with a total of ~30 employees, including budget and personnel planning
• Define and implement the company-wide IT strategy for the scope
• Ensure smooth IT operations and continuously improve IT processes
• Steer IT projects in the area of IT infrastructure
• Support personal and technical development of employees and motivate top performance
• Work in partnership with relevant IT and business functions

Requirements

• Completed technical degree, technical apprenticeship, or equivalent qualification
• Long-term leadership experience in IT infrastructure, preferably in a manufacturing/production environment
• Broad, hands-on expertise in network infrastructure, server landscapes, virtualization solutions, storage and backup systems, and IT security
• Relevant experience operating IT infrastructures, delivering IT projects, and IT service management
• High sense of responsibility, solution-oriented and structured working style
• Ability to target and implement IT projects across the organization
• Strong communication and motivation skills, reliability, and organizational talent
• Empathetic yet decisive team leadership, including under high workload
• Knowledge of ISMS and ISO 27001 is beneficial
• Excellent German and English skills, plus willingness to travel
