Description

You will evaluate and communicate cybersecurity requirements for systems in plant projects and integrate security-by-design into automation and software solutions. The role includes risk analyses for industrial systems (e.g., PLC/SPS, SCADA, networks) and support for implementing the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) for software products. You will also assess systems and components from a cybersecurity perspective and collaborate with engineering and development teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess and forward cybersecurity requirements in plant projects (OT security)

• Integrate Security-by-Design into automation and software solutions

• Conduct risk analyses for industrial systems (e.g., SPS, SCADA, networks)

• Support implementation of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) for software products

• Evaluate systems and components from a cybersecurity point of view

• Work with engineering, development, and other specialist departments

Requirements

• Completed degree or technician training (e.g., automation, electrical engineering, computer science)

• Basic cybersecurity knowledge, ideally in an OT context or aligned with IEC 62443

• Interest in software and product security (e.g., SDLC, vulnerability management)

• Very good German and good English skills in writing and speaking

• Team-oriented, resilient, organized, structured, and results-driven work style
