Description

You will build, maintain, and document an institute-wide IT vulnerability management process, including using sfixO. The work includes analyzing, assessing, and prioritizing IT weaknesses with asset owners, coordinating remediation activities, and reporting to ISM. You will also develop and steer a cross-cutting test program—ensuring security-relevant tests are planned, executed, and tracked—while supporting the evolution of the security architecture to minimize risks long term.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and document an institute-wide vulnerability management process including sfixO

• Analyze, evaluate, and prioritize vulnerabilities in close collaboration with asset owners

• Coordinate remediation measures and report to ISM

• Develop and steer the cross-department test program; track task processing in specialist departments

• Support and/or take responsibility for security-relevant tests

• Contribute to the further development of the security architecture and support preventive measures for long-term risk reduction

Requirements

• Completed degree in Business Informatics or Computer Science or comparable qualification

• Relevant professional experience in vulnerability management

• Experience designing and executing tests

• Sound knowledge of information security and risk management standards such as ISO 27001 and BSI IT-Grundschutz

• Confident appearance, strong communication skills, and very good conceptual and analytical thinking
