Description

You will own the central vulnerability management process for the organization’s IT and cloud infrastructure and selected customer systems. You will administer and configure scan engines, evaluate and prioritize vulnerabilities by risk and impact, and drive sustainable risk treatment through the implementation of appropriate measures. You will also continuously improve ISMS/BCMS tools based on IT-Grundschutz and support the rollout of modern cyber security solutions, especially XDR/SOC/SOAR.

Responsibilities

• Own the central vulnerability management process for IT and cloud infrastructure and selected customer systems
• Administer and configure scan engines; further develop the technical security architecture
• Identify security vulnerabilities, perform risk assessment, and prioritize remediation measures considering technical and business impact
• Work closely with the internal Information Security team, technical departments, and process owners to accompany risks through to implementation
• Continuously develop ISMS and BCMS tools based on IT-Grundschutz
• Focus on implementation of technical security measures
• Support introduction and integration of modern cyber security solutions, especially XDR/SOC/SOAR

Requirements

• Successfully completed degree in computer science, IT security, or a comparable field
• Multi-year professional experience in IT security
• Solid knowledge of securing Windows and Linux systems
• Ideally practical experience in vulnerability management
• Broad technical understanding of network and system infrastructure and cloud services
• Teamwork, strong communication skills, and ability to drive decisions
• Structured, careful, independent working style and enjoyment of traceable documentation
