Focus: Administration, optimization, and security development of network infrastructure (LAN/WLAN/WAN) for public-sector customers

Description

You will manage and continuously improve the network infrastructure for public-sector customers. In this role, you will administer and optimize LAN/WLAN/WAN, develop network and IT security infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and operate routers, switches, and firewalls. You will also create and review documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administration, configuration, and optimization of network infrastructure (LAN/WLAN/WAN)
• Conceptual development of network and IT security infrastructures
• Analyze and resolve errors in the above areas
• Maintain and operate existing network infrastructures; install, configure, and run routers, switches, and firewalls
• Create and check documentation

Requirements

• Completed training or degree in (Business) Informatics or a related field
• Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, VPN, and logging
• Practical experience with network structures and design, routing, and switching
• Independent working style and teamwork mindset
• Analytical, structured approach and quick comprehension
