Description

You will manage and further develop the organization’s network infrastructure for public-sector customers, ensuring reliable operation of their IT systems. The role includes designing network and IT security infrastructure, configuring and operating core networking equipment, and analyzing and resolving network faults. Documentation is maintained through creation and review of system records.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and optimize network infrastructure (LAN/WLAN/WAN)

• Design network and IT security infrastructure

• Analyze and resolve errors in the network and security areas

• Maintain existing network infrastructure; install, configure, and operate routers, switches, and firewalls

• Create and review documentation

Requirements

• Completed vocational training or degree in (business) informatics or a comparable field

• Experience with modern security technologies: firewalls, VPN, and logging

• Practical experience with network structures/design, routing, and switching

• Independent working style and enjoyment of teamwork

• Fast comprehension with an analytical and structured way of working
