Description

You will manage, administer, configure, and optimize the network infrastructure (LAN/WLAN/WAN) and support the development of network and IT security concepts. The role includes troubleshooting network and security issues, operating core hardware (routers, switches, firewalls), and maintaining the existing environment. You will also create and review technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and optimize LAN/WLAN/WAN network infrastructure
• Contribute to the conceptual development of network and IT security infrastructure
• Analyze and resolve errors in the covered network/security areas
• Maintain existing network infrastructure; install, configure, and operate routers, switches, and firewalls
• Create and review documentation

Requirements

• Completed vocational training or degree in (business) informatics or a comparable qualification
• Experience with firewalls, VPN, and logging
• Practical experience with network structures and design, including routing and switching
• Independent working style and team orientation
• Quick comprehension plus analytical and structured way of working
