Description

You will provide end-to-end IT product support and development for Software-as-a-Service solutions on SAP BTP, including responsibility for providing and configuring BTP services. The role covers incident and change handling, 2nd-level troubleshooting, and coordination of external service providers. You will use SAP Solution Manager to process change requests, analyze product issues, and propose solutions, including impact and security-related evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Holistic support of SaaS on SAP BTP and responsibility for provisioning and configuring BTP services
• Steer and accompany configuration changes, including quality assurance
• Coordinate external service providers involved in development, operations, and incident management
• Record, interpret, analyze, and implement change requests via SAP Solution Manager; assess interactions with products and applications
• Contribute to planning and controlling all steps up to productive rollout of configuration changes
• Evaluate incoming reports of product incidents and errors in SAP Solution Manager (2nd-level support) and develop solution approaches
• Conduct impact analyses for security and functional updates
• Support implementation of security requirements

Requirements

• Relevant university degree (Bachelor/Fachhochschule in Informatics, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or comparable) or eligibility for the higher technical civil service
• At least 3 years of practical IT experience
• Experience collaborating with and/or managing external service providers
• In-depth knowledge of SaaS solutions; knowledge of SAP BTP services is an advantage
• Knowledge of configuring and integrating cloud services
• Log analysis capabilities and ability to monitor software availability
• Ability to perform error analysis for incidents and problems
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills and ability to communicate complex topics clearly to different audiences
• Structured, independent, solution-oriented approach; teamwork and confident communication
• Interest in digitization and innovation in modern IT solutions
• Strong German communication skills (written and spoken)
• If the degree was obtained abroad: proof of equivalence must be submitted
