Description

You will support the IT Service team by providing first- and second-level user support for the organization’s IT hardware and software. The role includes troubleshooting and maintaining the client environment and school network setups, installing and maintaining hardware, operating systems, and applications, and administering mobile Apple devices for school IT as well as digital boards based on Android and Windows.

Responsibilities

• Provide user service (First- and Second-Level Support) for deployed hardware and software

• Support staff across district offices, external sites, partner municipalities, and schools via remote support and on-site visits

• Maintain, analyze issues, and resolve problems in client environments across administration properties and in school network environments

• Install and maintain hardware, operating systems, and application software

• Administer mobile Apple end devices for school IT and manage modern digital boards based on Android and Windows

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration (m/w/d) or comparable qualification

• Good knowledge of IT hardware/software and networking

• Good knowledge of current Windows operating systems and MS Office products

• Very good German skills (C1)

• Willingness to work regularly on-site at locations of the district, municipalities, and schools

• Organizational skills and ability to work independently

• Driving license class B and willingness to use a personal car as part of the job
