Compensation: Up to TVöD pay group 9a (approx. €44,500–€63,500)

Description

You will support the organization’s IT service team by providing user support, maintaining client and network environments, and carrying out installations and updates across district and school locations. The role also covers administration of mobile Apple devices for school IT and modern digital boards based on Android and Windows.

Responsibilities

• First- and second-level user service for the deployed hardware and software
• Support staff across the district, branch offices, affiliated municipalities, and schools via remote support and on-site visits
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in the client environment at the district administration facilities and in the school network environments
• Install and maintain hardware, operating systems, and application programs
• Administer mobile Apple end devices for school IT and modern digital boards based on Android and Windows

Requirements

• Completed training as an IT specialist for system integration (Fachinformatiker) or a comparable qualification
• Good knowledge of hardware, software, and networking
• Good knowledge of current Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office products
• German skills at C1 level
• Willingness to work regularly on-site at district, municipal, and school locations
• Organizational skills and ability to work independently
• Valid Class B driver’s license and willingness to use a personal car for work
