Description

You will operate and continuously improve a workload management environment for a GPU-supported AI setup. The role covers Linux, container virtualization, directory services, and backups, plus first- and second-level support and ongoing documentation. You will also provide open LLMs through API interfaces and prepare usage data for billing.

Responsibilities

• Install, administer, and further develop a workload manager for a GPU-supported AI environment
• Provide open LLMs via API interfaces and prepare usage data for billing
• Administer, maintain, and further develop operating systems, directory services, and backup systems
• Contribute to planning of the applications and operating systems used
• Deliver first- and second-level support for the software in use
• Create and continuously update operational and user documentation

Requirements

• Completed degree (Fachhochschule/Bachelor/Master) in Computer Science or Systems Engineering, or comparable knowledge
• Multi-year experience in IT infrastructure, networking, or system administration
• Excellent knowledge of Linux, container virtualization (e.g., Docker), and Shell scripting
• Good knowledge of workload management (e.g., Slurm)
• Very strong knowledge of IT security regulations and data protection
• Knowledge of ISO 27001 and/or BSI IT-Grundschutz
• German C1 and very good English (written and spoken)
