Role description

You will administer and operate a Kubernetes cluster for enterprise and AI applications, working closely with teams to ensure containerized workloads run reliably. You will also maintain the underlying server and storage hardware and platforms such as Red Hat OpenShift.

Responsibilities

• Administer, operate, and maintain a Kubernetes cluster

• Operate and maintain underlying server and storage hardware

• Work with Red Hat OpenShift as infrastructure for enterprise and AI applications

• Support business teams in operating applications inside the Kubernetes cluster

Requirements

• Completed degree or vocational training in Informatics or Business Informatics

• Professional experience in DevOps, containerization, and Kubernetes

• Administration of DELL server systems and enterprise storage solutions

• Deep Linux knowledge, especially RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux)

• Proficiency administering an NVIDIA Cloud Native Stack and the Red Hat OpenShift platform

• Ability to run containerized applications with Podman

• Ability to manage virtual machines and configure virtual networks with Cilium

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

• CI/CD pipeline experience with Jenkins

• VMware knowledge for system migrations
