Description

Create customer-specific software releases in a cross-functional team. Define and maintain base software platforms based on current Windows and Linux systems, and configure internal and third-party software and drivers across different hardware platforms. Build and use tools to optimize and automate release and integration processes, including porting platforms across hardware and virtualization environments (e.g., Hyper-V and VMware).

Responsibilities

• Create customer-specific software releases in a cross-functional team
• Define and maintain base software platforms (Windows/Linux-based)
• Configure in-house and third-party software and drivers on different hardware platforms
• Develop and use tools to optimize and automate release and integration processes
• Port operating systems/software platforms between different hardware and virtualization environments (Hyper-V, VMware)
• Support the ongoing development of stable, scalable system landscapes
• Collaborate closely with customers, Product Owners, testers, and developers in agile processes (Scrum/Kanban)

Requirements

• Technical training (e.g., Fachinformatiker Application Development, Elektrotechniker) or comparable qualification
• Experience with agile methods (Scrum/Kanban)
• Knowledge of installing/configuring systems on Windows and Linux
• Good knowledge of PC hardware/software, including operating systems, MS Office, and industrial interface standards
• Very good German and English skills and valid EU work authorization
• (Advantageous) Experience planning, installing, and configuring networks and network components
• Ability to work in a team and high enthusiasm
