Description

You lead the Systems Operations team (currently 13 employees) and shape the SAP S/4HANA transformation through close coordination between business functions, key users, process owners, and IT. You analyze, prioritize, and implement functional and legal requirements while ensuring stable and efficient system operations with continuous optimization of systems, interfaces, and processes. You will also develop team members, initiate projects with sustainable solution concepts, and contribute to improvements in IT service management processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional and disciplinary leadership and develop the Systems Operations team

• Coordinate collaboration across business units, key users, process owners, and IT; ensure effective information and decision flow

• Analyze, prioritize, and implement functional and legal requirements for systems and processes

• Ensure stable, efficient system operation; continuously optimize systems, interfaces, and processes

• Develop employees’ competencies and working methods in a dynamic transformation environment

• Initiate, lead, and realize projects; develop sustainable solution concepts

• Support business teams on complex, cross-department challenges with high functional relevance

• Contribute to the further development of IT service management processes

Requirements

• Completed degree or equivalent qualification

• Several years of professional experience in the energy sector and/or IT

• First leadership experience or motivation and personal suitability to take on leadership responsibility

• Modern, reflective leadership approach that provides direction and actively drives team development

• Strong understanding of processes and integration; ability to quickly grasp and connect technical and functional contexts

• Communication skills to align different perspectives and reliably mediate between business and IT

• Decisiveness, conflict management, and a structured, analytical, solution-oriented working style

• Drive for change, readiness for transformation, and a hands-on mentality to actively shape SAP S/4HANA transformation
