• Product domain: Mainframe Resource Intelligence (MRI) for evaluating mainframe hardware setup, deployed software stacks, operational health indicators, and capacity utilization of z/OS

Description

Lead execution and delivery of MRI features and capabilities based on customer feedback, aligning work with the broader product strategy. Partner with Engineering, UX, Support, and cross-functional teams to prioritize roadmap items, manage dependencies, and remove roadblocks. Present product capabilities to stakeholders and measure adoption and retention to achieve product OKRs and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Act as an intermediary between market/business requirements and R&D

• Plan and prioritize roadmap work and product support issues with the scrum team

• Analyze customer needs, break them into functional stories, and partner with Architecture and Engineering

• Manage multiple product backlogs and execution with scrum teams using tools such as Rally and Jira

• Remove blockers across teams to meet quality standards, deadlines, and business objectives

• Present product functions during demos, marketing events, and/or executive reviews

• Partner with Architecture on solutioning new features and capabilities (including potential AI/ML applicability)

• Measure customer adoption and retention based on the GTM plan to meet product OKRs and KPIs

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Engineering

• 8+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or enterprise software development

• Technical knowledge of mainframe software and enterprise transformation trends

• Technical knowledge of GCP or cloud-based applications

• Experience with Angular or React UI frameworks

• Experience with databases

• Ability to manage complex cross-functional, cross-business projects

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations

• Experience collaborating with product and engineering teams on backlogs and prioritization

• Experience managing customer requests, issues, and escalations

• Leadership, organization, and time-management skills
