Description

Lead the strategy and delivery of transformative AI-driven testing and verification solutions across the AI Development Life Cycle. Own product vision, roadmap, and sequencing while partnering with engineering and product leaders to translate product direction into coherent technical architecture. You will hire, grow, and lead a large engineering team and communicate progress and risks to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define and own product strategy for AI-driven testing: what to build, in what sequence, and why

• Hire, grow, and lead a large engineering team during rapid expansion and scope increase

• Partner with SDE/PE/PM to deliver coherent technical architecture and hold teams accountable

• Engage Amazon customers to understand current testing pain points and adoption needs for trustworthy AI-generated test evidence

• Drive delivery execution at the required domain pace; reduce late delivery risk

• Own product vision and make hard prioritization calls on what to build and stop building

• Shape TestSpaces direction so the execution layer and testing-judgment layer evolve as a coherent system

• Communicate strategy, progress, and risk clearly to senior leadership

Requirements

• 3+ years engineering team management experience

• 7+ years engineering experience

• 8+ years leading definition and development of multi-tier web services

• 3+ years Software Engineer/Developer (or related)

• 1+ year technical leadership and project management across the full software development lifecycle

• 1+ year developing large-scale, multi-tier distributed software systems using Java, C# or C++

• 1+ year developing large-scale, multi-tier distributed software systems using service-oriented architecture

• 1+ year developing large-scale, multi-tier distributed software systems using distributed programming

• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in CS, Engineering, Math, or related field

• Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns across full SDLC including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and production operations

• Experience partnering with product or program management teams
