Description

Lead the operation, availability, and development of the company’s local IT infrastructure for a manufacturing environment. You will manage key infrastructure areas (servers, networks, storage, backup, and disaster recovery), oversee more serious IT incidents, and develop core enterprise applications—especially Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. You will also coordinate integrations and IT upgrades, take basic responsibility for cybersecurity, and manage the IT budget (CAPEX/OPEX) together with external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operation, availability, and development of company IT infrastructure
• Manage an internal IT team of ~2 people
• Provide IT support for ~100 users and ~140 endpoints
• Administer an environment of ~60 virtual servers and a VMware vSphere cluster
• Own servers, networks, storage, backup, and disaster recovery
• Monitor user support and handle major IT incidents
• Manage and improve key enterprise applications, especially Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, database environment, DMS, and other production/business systems
• Coordinate integrations, system upgrades, and collaboration with external suppliers
• Plan and deliver infrastructure and application IT projects
• Be responsible for core cybersecurity activities and IT risk management
• Prepare and manage the IT budget (CAPEX and OPEX)
• Manage IT vendors, contracts, licenses, and service partners
• Identify opportunities for automation, modernization, and process efficiency

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or IT management
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft stack: Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Entra
• Experience with virtualization technologies, ideally VMware vSphere and Hyper-V
• Knowledge of networking, backup, and storage
• Basic orientation in Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience with ERP and other business-critical applications
• Experience managing IT projects, budgets, and external vendors
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and IT risk management
• Ability to combine technical expertise with people leadership and communication with management
• Independent approach: set priorities and complete tasks
• English language skills
