Description

You will continuously develop the LifeFactory platform within a DevOps team, take over standard releases, and support operations in a Public Cloud environment. The role includes implementing technical and business improvements in the Customizing Layer for secure processing and management of life insurance, and developing, adapting, and optimizing Java components. You will collaborate with Cloud Engineers to analyze and fix defects and ensure quality measures and architecture guidelines are followed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance the LifeFactory platform in a DevOps team
• Support standard releases and Public Cloud operations
• Implement improvements in the Customizing Layer for secure life insurance processing and administration
• Build, adjust, and optimize Java components and fix defects with Cloud Engineers
• Create, maintain, and extend reusable software components while following architecture requirements
• Apply and monitor quality assurance measures in the software development process

Requirements

• Practical experience with the IPL Framework and developing/maintaining msg LifeFactory software
• Very good Java knowledge (Java 21), including Spring, Hibernate, and creation of SOAP and REST web services
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Public Cloud environments, and Git-based development processes
• Experience supporting complex system landscapes and maintaining demanding IT solutions
• Experience with relevant laws and standards in the insurance environment
• Fluent German and English
