Description

Design, implement, and develop a new Java application using Java 25. Work closely with an architect and analyst on new functionality, and with the frontend team on integration and application development. Ensure quality through unit and integration tests and support CI/CD mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and develop a new Java 25 application
• Collaborate with architect and analyst to plan and deliver new features
• Collaborate with the frontend team on integrations and application development
• Deliver high-quality, testable code
• Implement and develop unit and integration tests
• Support development and maintenance of CI/CD mechanisms
• Participate in periodic onsite meetings (Katowice) while working remotely

Requirements

• Higher education in Computer Science
• Minimum 5 years of Java programming experience, including Java 25 projects
• Experience with Spring Boot 2.x/3.x
• Experience designing and implementing REST API
• Knowledge of Gradle, Git, Hibernate, and Apache Tomcat
• Experience containerizing applications (Docker, Docker Compose) and familiarity with container orchestration concepts
• Very good knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Knowledge of OOP, reactive programming, and design patterns
• Ability to work in a team, take responsibility for delivered code quality, and communicate well
• English proficiency enabling comfortable use of technical documentation
