Description

You will design and deliver cloud architectures for Army workloads across data services, generative AI, serverless, compute, and storage. You will also own technical engagement and implementation success, serve as a security subject matter expert, and lead database modernization and migration efforts using repeatable design patterns and reference architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver AWS architectures for Army workloads, evaluating trade-offs for data store selection, scaling strategy, and failover mechanisms.
• Own technical engagement and implementation success, including defining implementation architectures and responding to RFPs.
• Provide trusted technical advisory and security guidance to Army/DoD stakeholders to identify opportunities and risks.
• Lead database modernization and migration engagements; develop reusable designs and new patterns when needed.
• Capture and share best practices through presentations, workshops, written guidance, and peer collaboration.
