Description

Work with early-stage startup customers to architect AWS-based solutions that are scalable, secure, and cost-effective, guiding pragmatic technical decisions as they grow. You’ll lead technical discussions, create plans with customer teams, and build proof-of-concepts and reference architectures. You’ll also share your expertise through workshops and startup-focused sessions, and advocate internally on what startups need.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with startup customers to provide technical advocacy as they build products in the cloud
• Define cloud help plans in conjunction with customer account teams
• Lead technical discussions and present best practices for AWS architecture, services, and solutions
• Architect solutions aligned to customer technical requirements, business objectives, and growth plans
• Collaborate cross-functionally (Sales, Product, Support) to deliver comprehensive startup solutions
• Design and implement proof-of-concepts (POCs) and reference architectures
• Stay current on AWS services and industry trends; drive continuous improvement
• Participate in workshops, webinars, and events; contribute to scalable technical content creation

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
• 3+ years of experience designing, implementing, or consulting in applications and infrastructure
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience
• Experience working with end-user or developer communities
