Description

You will be responsible for the operation and continued development of a Linux infrastructure based on Ubuntu Server. The role includes administering and supporting Linux environments for internal users, customers, and web agencies, as well as advancing the organization’s AI server infrastructure with container technologies. You will automate processes via scripting, maintain web server security (including WAF) and centralized log management, and develop a consistent Linux client landscape.

Responsibilities

• Operate and continuously improve the Ubuntu Server-based Linux infrastructure

• Support and advise internal users, customers, and web agencies in Linux matters

• Administer, run, and further develop the organization’s AI server infrastructure and related container technologies

• Automate processes and build interfaces using scripting

• Secure and maintain web server infrastructure, including Web Application Firewall (WAF) and centralized log management

• Implement, maintain, and evolve a standardized Linux client environment

Requirements

• IT training or studies or comparable qualification with relevant professional experience

• Multi-year Linux experience, ideally with Ubuntu and common server components

• Solid knowledge of Shell scripting and Python; experience automating IT processes

• Knowledge of web security, especially WAF and OWASP

• Experience in one or more infrastructure areas (e.g., Ansible/n8n, log management, container technologies, virtualization such as VMware)

• Very good German and good English
