Description

You will set up and operate central and decentralized Linux systems, manage central identity management for school administrators, and ensure customer system availability through provisioning and monitoring. You will also handle server backup/restore, create scripts to automate server-side tasks, and join on-call duty. The position emphasizes structured, service- and solution-oriented work within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operation of central and decentralized Linux systems

• Operate central identity management for school administrators

• Provision and monitor customer systems

• Perform backup and restore of server data

• Create scripts for automation in the server environment

• Participate in on-call/on-call standby (Rufbereitschaft)

Requirements

• Completed training as a Fachinformatiker or comparable qualification; first professional experience

• Solid knowledge of installation and operation of Linux servers

• Strong technical understanding with pronounced service and solution orientation

• Structured and careful way of working; independent and team-oriented

• Fluent German in speech and writing
