Description

You will provide on-site support for confocal and widefield microscope systems, including preventive maintenance, repairs, error analysis, performance verification, and installation of new systems and upgrades. You will train users and research teams, maintain accurate service reports and technical documentation, and collaborate with regional and global service teams as well as Sales and Applications to support demos and trade shows.

Responsibilities

• On-site support for confocal and widefield microscope systems
• Preventive maintenance, repairs, and error analysis
• Performance verification and installation of new systems and upgrades
• User training and sharing product-specific know-how
• Prepare service reports, technical documentation, and case updates
• Coordinate with regional/global service teams, Sales, and Applications
• Support product demonstrations and trade shows

Requirements

• Degree or completed vocational training in life sciences, medical technology, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or comparable technical discipline
• Multiple years of field service or technical customer support experience with optical/analytical/medical or comparable electromechanical systems
• Business-fluent German and English
• Frequent travel within the assigned territory; occasional overnight stays
• Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to work safely at customer sites and handle service tools, spare parts, and system components per safety requirements
