Description

You will support IT production operations by processing batch requests, planning and controlling batch runs, and monitoring systems, applications, and batch processes to ensure smooth operations. You will analyze and document hardware/software incidents and coordinate appropriate corrective actions. You will also contribute to IT projects and help continuously optimize operational workflows.

Responsibilities

• Review, process, and implement batch requests from business departments and application development
• Create, plan, control, and monitor batch processes in the IT production environment
• Monitor systems, applications, and batch processes to ensure stable and smooth IT operations
• Analyze and document hardware and software faults and initiate and coordinate suitable troubleshooting measures
• Participate in IT projects, handle special assignments, and contribute to continuous operational process optimization

Requirements

• Practical experience in work planning, job control, and batch scheduling in an IT production environment (ideally in financial services)
• Multi-year experience with professional scheduling tools, ideally Automic (UC4)
• Desirable: knowledge of mainframe technologies such as z/OS, JCL, and DB2 Utilities
• Interest in working on IT projects and further developing existing processes
• Strong analytical skills; structured, solution-oriented work approach
• Ability to develop well-founded decision templates
• Communication skills, assertiveness, and high personal responsibility
• Flexibility, commitment, and willingness to actively contribute ideas and improvement suggestions
• Very good German skills (at least C1) and subject-related English skills
