Description

You will lead the Plant Engineering (electrical) group, combining electrical engineering expertise with modern leadership. The role offers scope to develop technical solutions with the team, optimize processes, and manage challenging projects with short decision paths.

Responsibilities

• Technical and disciplinary leadership of the Plant Engineering team

• Act as electrical specialist and plant operator for the electrical systems of the gas and water networks

• Plan and engineer complex electrical plants and systems

• Coordinate the technical on-call service

• Set goals and priorities and ensure reliable execution of tasks and projects

• Promote employees’ professional and personal development

• Develop work processes and systems together with the team

• Coordinate tasks, resources, and collaboration with other departments and external partners

• Participate in projects and lead them

Requirements

• Completed education in electrical engineering with further training as Master or Technician

• Several years of experience in planning, construction, and operation of electrical installations, ideally in the energy and utilities sector

• Experience in leading and developing employees

• Ability to provide direction, make decisions, and take responsibility

• Strong organizational skills and confident handling of shifting priorities

• Strong communication skills with a respectful, committed leadership style

• Business-oriented thinking and ability to align complex technical requirements with operational objectives

• Comprehensive knowledge of applicable technical codes and regulations
