Description

You will support customers in Central and Eastern Germany by setting up and optimizing the application of chemical cleaning products in car wash systems. The job includes on-site troubleshooting, regular service visits, and systematic analysis of recurring errors to improve performance. You will also test new product developments under real conditions and document all service and application results.

Responsibilities

• Configure and optimize use of chemical products in portal wash systems, car wash tunnels, and self-service wash bays (dosage and application parameters)

• Serve as the technical point of contact for chemical and application questions and provide quick on-site solutions

• Conduct regular service visits, review product usage, and optimize application

• Record and analyze recurring faults and application issues in a fault management system

• Work closely with internal application engineering and sales to ensure customer-focused solutions

• Test new product developments under real conditions and relay findings to relevant internal teams

• Maintain structured documentation of service calls, application tests, and customer visits, including findings, actions, and recommendations

Requirements

• Completed technical or chemical-technical training or comparable qualification

• Ideally experience in application engineering, technical customer service, or vehicle washing

• Strong technical understanding and enjoyment of analyzing application issues and finding practical solutions

• Independent, structured, and reliable work style with ownership of customer appointment organization

• Customer-oriented demeanor and ability to explain technical connections clearly

• Willingness to travel within the responsibility area, including occasional overnight stays

• Driver’s license class B

• Preferably living in the Kassel or Leipzig area
