Description

You will implement and continuously improve applications in the Credit Decision and Obligo (CDO) domain, contributing to projects from start to finish. You will work with the PO and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions, including implementation, testing, and documentation, while adhering to agreed architecture and security/compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance CDO-related applications and tools (maintenance, testing, process optimization)

• Support the PO with technical questions and project scope estimation

• Translate business requirements into technical requirements and implement solutions

• Ensure adherence to software architectures, development processes, and security/compliance/IT-security requirements

• Participate in agile ceremonies (estimation to refinement) and document efforts and outcomes in the available tools

• Support project management in preparation, estimation, execution, and reporting

• Coordinate with PO, project management, DevOps, testing, and release management; collaborate cross-functionally

• Use KPIs to monitor code quality and drive improvement measures

• Support OPS for rollout/maintenance, incident troubleshooting, error analysis, and bug fixing

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science or a related field

• Relevant software development experience; knowledge of middleware and backend (financial services experience is a plus)

• Conceptual strength and ability to innovate; experience with agile ways of working (Scrum/Kanban)

• Strong communication and teamwork skills, plus entrepreneurial thinking

• Structured, proactive, independent working style; close alignment with the PO for development tasks

• High analytical skills, quality and accountability mindset; solution- and service-oriented approach

• Experience with best practices, design patterns, Clean Code, and Semantic Versioning

• Ideally: Java, Spring Boot, Git, build pipelines, XML, REST APIs, JSON, Jira, Confluence, and confident use of an IDE

• Desirable: Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Experience with SonarQube and deriving improvement actions to enhance code quality

• Fluent German and English; knowledge of domain-specific terminology
