Description

You will design, implement, and document complex application software in cross-functional project teams. The work includes requirement analysis, system and requirements engineering support, architecture and API design, and building test concepts for formal acceptance. You will also analyze and optimize the existing code base for performance and bottlenecks.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle design, implementation, and documentation of complex software

• Perform requirement analyses and contribute to system conception and requirements engineering

• Create architectures, design APIs, and document them

• Develop test concepts for formal acceptance and other tests, including documentation

• Support creation of effort estimates for acquisition projects

• Analyze and optimize the existing code base (e.g., identify bottlenecks and improve system performance)

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or comparable

• Multi-year experience in software development in a regulated environment

• Deep knowledge of software development in Python, C++, or C#

• Solid knowledge of model-based development approaches and modern software architectures

• Familiarity with tool-based requirements engineering

• Safe use of collaboration platforms, version control, and development environments

• Willingness to bring in new technologies and best practices and grow within the team

• Willingness for occasional business travel

• Very good German language skills (written and spoken)

• Independent, systematic work style, quality awareness, creativity, and teamwork
