Description

Lead business intelligence and analytics initiatives to identify revenue, efficiency, and growth opportunities from large structured and unstructured datasets. Build and evolve KPI systems, analytics models, and dashboards, and turn insights into data-driven recommendations for management and business units. Automate and optimize reporting and analysis processes, while assessing new data sources, data structures, and analytical methods.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large structured and unstructured data to uncover profitability, efficiency, and growth potential

• Derive data-based recommendations for management and functional departments

• Identify new business opportunities and relevant questions based on existing data

• Build and further develop analysis models, KPI systems, and dashboards

• Develop new data-driven use cases and analytical solution approaches

• Automate and improve existing analysis and reporting processes

• Evaluate new data sources, data structures, and analytical methods

• Partner with Corporate Controlling, IT, and operational business areas to enable data-driven decisions

• Help shape a modern analytics area with significant scope for impact

Requirements

• Completed Master’s degree in Business Informatics, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a comparable program

• Several years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, Business Analytics, Data Science, or data analysis

• Very good knowledge of SQL and Excel and experience analyzing large, complex datasets

• Experience with Power BI or comparable BI platforms, and with Python, R, or comparable analytical tools

• Knowledge of data modeling and data preparation; experience with cloud/data platforms such as Azure, Databricks, or Snowflake is ideal

• Strong understanding of business context and ability to identify business opportunities using data

• Strong communication skills to convey and persuade with analytical results tailored to the audience

• Analytical thinking, high personal responsibility, and strong results orientation
