Description

You will support the IT team with real systems and projects, gaining insight into how IT infrastructure, IT security, and digitization work together in an industrial environment. The role includes IT helpdesk support (1st/2nd level), administration of client/server environments, and assistance with IT-security activities. You will also help with workstation and hardware/network rollouts and maintain IT documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support the IT team in day-to-day operations and projects

• Intake, processing, and documentation of IT support requests via IT support/helpdesk (1st/2nd level)

• Assist with administration of client and server systems, user accounts, and permissions (including Active Directory and Microsoft 365)

• Help set up, configure, and roll out workstations, hardware, and network components

• Support IT security activities, especially patch management, analyzing security alerts, and implementing security measures

• Contribute to IT and digitization projects from research and documentation to hands-on implementation

• Maintain IT documentation, including guides and inventory records

Requirements

• Enrolled in a degree program in (Business) Informatics, IT security, engineering, or a comparable program

• First knowledge of Windows and network environments, and interest in IT infrastructure and IT security

• Structured, careful, and independent way of working

• Team spirit, service orientation, and enjoyment of solving practical problems

• Very good German; English skills are an advantage
