Description

Work onsite as an IT field service technician focused on network technology—installing, configuring, and troubleshooting PCs, Microsoft-based servers, and network components such as firewalls and switches. Systematically analyze and resolve technical issues in practice locations, then plan and carry out IT rollouts and new installations. Document completed work and help maintain warehouse and inventory levels.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure IT infrastructure onsite (PCs, Microsoft-based servers, network components like firewalls and switches)

• Analyze and fix technical faults, including hardware and network issues

• Plan and execute IT rollouts and new installations; support the team during unplanned service calls

• Perform functional, power-supply, and connectivity tests for quality assurance

• Document work performed and support inventory/warehouse management

Requirements

• Completed training as IT specialist, electronics technician, electrical technician, or comparable qualification; at least 1 year of related experience

• Good knowledge of computer and network technology

• Experience with Microsoft operating systems and standard applications

• Knowledge of printers, copiers, and peripherals; basic knowledge of IP telephony, telephone systems, and camera/security systems

• Strong hands-on skills and technical understanding

• Experience in project work, inventory management, and material planning

• Secure German (C1) in writing and speaking; basic English skills
