Description

You will ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of the developer platform and build/operate observability solutions for monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting. You will analyze operational incidents, identify root causes, and drive lasting improvements to platform stability.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliability, availability, and performance of the developer platform

• Develop and operate observability solutions for monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting

• Analyze operational incidents, determine causes, and implement sustainable corrective actions

• Define metrics for availability, performance, and service quality and drive continuous improvement

• Design measures to increase resilience, scalability, and fault tolerance

• Plan, coordinate, and execute disaster-recovery tests; evaluate results

• Support and enable development teams to implement reliability and observability requirements

• Analyze and resolve complex, cross-domain issues

• Maintain operational documentation, standards, and runbooks

• Participate in on-call duty for the development platform

Requirements

• Completed technical training, an IT degree, or a comparable qualification

• In-depth knowledge in at least one area: hyperscalers, Kubernetes, Linux, or monitoring/observability solutions

• Experience operating and optimizing complex IT platforms and distributed systems

• Familiarity with monitoring/logging/alerting tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Mimir, Tempo, or comparable technologies

• Knowledge of automation, Infrastructure as Code, and modern operations/deployment approaches

• Experience analyzing and remediating complex incidents, including sustainable root-cause analysis

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Independent and responsible working style with strong teamwork

• Customer- and solution-oriented mindset

• Very good German and good English skills
