Description

You will define how customers and AI agents collaborate to understand, forecast, and control cloud spend. The role focuses on designing trust when AI agents take actions involving money—covering what agents can do on their own, how they explain themselves, and how customers stay in control and undo actions. You’ll create coherent experiences across conversational, agent-driven, and console interfaces, partnering with product, engineering, and data science through post-launch iteration.

Responsibilities

• Frame ambiguous problems before solving them; drive clarity when requirements and feasibility are undefined
• Define how AI agents act on a customer’s behalf, including autonomy boundaries, human approvals, and mechanisms to take control back
• Design trust patterns showing agent confidence, reasoning, and attribution
• Implement human-in-the-loop, approval, and undo patterns for actions that move money
• Deliver consistent experiences across conversational, agent-driven, and console interfaces
• Lead end-to-end design from problem framing through launch, then improve using data signals
• Co-design with data science, legal, and policy on financial and compliance complexity
• Mentor designers and establish patterns/standards for how the team operates
• Write narratives and strategy documents to advance decisions with senior leadership

Requirements

• 7+ years of design experience
• Portfolio or samples demonstrating end-to-end, user-centered design patterns across desktop and mobile
• Experience using AI tools in the design workflow (AI-assisted prototyping, code generation, or research synthesis)
• Experience designing complex, data-dense workflows and information architecture
