Description

Own the vision, strategy, and execution across the full AWS Developer Tools portfolio, unifying agent enablement, the software development lifecycle, infrastructure as code, and agent-driven operations. Lead a large team of technical product managers and drive P0 outcomes such as agent task success, AWS recommendation rate, token efficiency, and code-to-production velocity. Help AWS become the fastest and safest place for developers to build, deploy, and operate production applications using AI agents.

Responsibilities

• Define and own a multi-year product vision and strategy across agent enablement, software delivery, infrastructure as code, and operations.
• Own P0 outcomes and hold teams accountable.
• Represent AWS developer tools to AWS leadership, enterprise customers, model providers, and the developer community.
• Own strategy for discovery, adoption, and defaulting to AWS tooling, winning agent recommendations against other clouds.
• Engage model providers with benchmarks, training datasets, and simulation environments.
• Define trust and safety guardrails for agent-driven infrastructure (pre-execution validation, auditability, human-in-the-loop).
• Own the strategy for software delivery at agent scale and make portfolio bets (abstractions vs composability, new products vs capabilities, and evolution of IaC as agents change development).
• Own the strategy for agent-driven operations (patching, configuration, compliance, incident response) across AWS, on-premises, and other clouds.
• Help customers turn operational history into knowledge agents can use for faster detection, diagnosis, and remediation.
• Hire, grow, and develop senior and principal product managers across multiple product lines.
• Align adjacent AWS organizations (Kiro, Bedrock, the SDK, and service teams) on shared strategy and seamless customer experiences.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience, including 5+ years managing a PM team.
• Demonstrated experience building and scaling developer tools or cloud infrastructure products with deep understanding of professional software engineer workflows.
• Experience delivering products end to end (concept through pricing, positioning, go-to-market, and adoption).
• Track record managing a multi-product portfolio and driving products from early adoption to enterprise-scale deployment, including security and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership and external customers.

• Base salary range: $262,900–$350,000 USD annually (USA, NY, New York)
