• Role: Network Security Specialist (perimeter, firewall, VPN)

Description

You will be responsible for protecting infrastructure, ensuring high availability of services, and enabling secure access to internal systems. The role focuses on continuous hardening and administration of key perimeter network components, including firewalls, load balancers, and VPN gateways, plus monitoring, anomaly analysis, and incident response across network layers L3–L7.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and continuously harden key network components protecting the company infrastructure
• Administer firewalls: manage security policies, tune rules, patch, upgrade firmware, and handle network security incidents
• Configure and oversee load balancers; ensure high availability, optimize load distribution and application traffic
• Manage VPN gateways for remote employee and partner access; administer reverse proxy and SSL/TLS certificates
• Monitor traffic and perform deep anomaly analysis (L3–L7 troubleshooting)
• Cooperate in security audits and respond to cyber threats
• Set strict security standards for network communication and collaborate on infrastructure development projects
• Secure and administer cloud environments and services

Requirements

• Completed secondary education with a high-school diploma (maturita)
• At least 3–5 years of experience in a similar role (perimeter management, network security, senior network administration)
• Detailed orientation in network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, routing, switching)
• Security-first thinking; vulnerability monitoring (CVE); regular auditing of policies and hardening systems
• Intermediate English (B1 per SERR)
• Criminal integrity (no criminal record)
• High initiative and ability to make quick decisions
• Ability to use and re-apply gained experience
• Professional intuition and ability to propose and push for quality solutions
• Ability to work in a team and lead its activities
• Ability to communicate with support in English
